Geoff McComic has served as President of Vesta Pacific Development since 2012.
Over the past 25 years Mr. McComic has held various positions in the homebuilding industry, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities. He joined Trans West Housing in 1994 as Director of Acquisitions, where he sought out and underwrote residential development opportunities, managed all aspects of financial analysis and due diligence for proposed projects, and negotiated price and terms with sellers. In 1998 he became Vice President of Forward Planning for Trans West, handling entitlement and budget preparation for all of the company’s projects. He was also responsible for working with the construction and marketing divisions to develop product for each new project. From 2000 to 2005 he served as Executive Vice President for Tran West Housing, overseeing all acquisition, forward planning and marketing for the company. In this role he also worked with the COO and controller managing relationships with equity partners and lenders. In 2006, Mr. McComic was named Chief Operating Officer of Trans West, and was responsible for managing every aspect of the company. All department heads and managers reported to him. He directly interfaced with lenders and partners as well as the company’s CEO. McComic achieved a B.A. in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Urban Planning and a B.A. in History from the University of California Santa Barbara. |
